Leon Vynehall invites: Aurora Halal

Genre-fluid electronic music moves between deep house, psychedelic techno, ambient textures and bass-heavy rhythms in a late-night session led by Leon Vynehall. The event takes place Friday, August 21 at Floyd Miami, with Aurora Halal and Uchi completing the lineup. The 21-and-older club night is scheduled to continue until 5 a.m.

British DJ and producer Leon Vynehall is known for expanding house music through cinematic composition and influences spanning techno, soul, ambient and experimental electronics. His releases include the albums Nothing Is Still and Rare, Forever, along with entries in the DJ-Kicks and fabric Presents mix series.

Aurora Halal brings a shadowy, psychedelic approach to techno shaped by immersive storytelling and shifts in mood and intensity. The New York-based artist founded the Mutual Dreaming party series and Sustain-Release festival and is a resident DJ at Nowadays. Venezuelan-born, Germany-based DJ Uchi, whose club history includes appearances in Miami, Berlin and New York, rounds out the bill.
