Lit Little Haiti Comedy Nights

A community-focused comedy night brings stand-up performances and Caribbean-influenced nightlife together in the heart of Little Haiti.

Lit Little Haiti Comedy Nights takes place Thursday, January 22 at Lakou, an outdoor cultural venue located in Little Haiti. Presented by Black Label XChange Digital Network LLC, the free event centers on live comedy followed by a music-driven after-party.

The evening features a stand-up lineup headlined by SloMo Strachen, with additional performances by Javier “Javi” Carrion, Andrew Johnson, Pookie F. Baby and Jeff Stones. The setting emphasizes an intimate, neighborhood atmosphere designed to highlight both emerging and established comedic voices.

Following the comedy program, the event transitions into an after-party with DJ One Way spinning a mix of Caribbean, R&B and hip-hop music. Food and drinks are available on site throughout the night.
