Live on the Plaza: Son Gitano

Salsa, bolero and flamenco influences come together in an outdoor performance by Son Gitano at the Adrienne Arsht Center. Returning to the Live on the Plaza series for a second consecutive year, the group performs Friday, February 26 on the Parker and Vann Thomson Plaza for the Arts.

Son Gitano draws on musical traditions from Spain and Latin America, blending flamenco-inspired textures with Latin rhythms and romantic bolero repertoire. The ensemble’s cross-cultural approach gives the program a broad stylistic range while keeping acoustic performance at its center.
