Luis Bravo's Forever Tango
Feb 06, 2027
Two shows: 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM
Tango’s dramatic footwork, live music and theatrical storytelling come together in a stage production tracing the dance’s rise from Argentina to the world. Luis Bravo’s Forever Tango comes to Aventura Arts & Cultural Center on Saturday, February 6, with performances at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. The production follows tango from its origins in the streets of 19th-century Argentina through its adoption in Bohemian Paris and its later spread across Europe and the Americas.
Created by Argentine cellist and director Luis Bravo, Forever Tango has been performed on Broadway and at venues around the world. The show presents tango as both a dance form and a cultural history, shaped by longing, precision and the close partnership between music and movement.
The fully staged production features five musicians and eight dancers, with choreography and live accompaniment that highlight tango’s rhythmic intensity, sensuality and theatrical flair.
