Magic of Mushrooms: An Exotic Tasting Experience takes place at 2417 N. Miami Ave. in Wynwood, with scheduled evenings on January 24, January 25, January 31, February 28, and March 1, each running from 7-9 p.m.
The event offers a guided progression through vegan-friendly tasting stations that highlight texture, technique and seasonal ingredients. Mushroom-focused selections include truffle-infused mushroom consommé, lion’s mane “crab” cakes, king oyster mushroom carpaccio, porcini and hazelnut pâté, morel and cashew cream crostini, crispy maitake with nori salt, charred shiitake and eggplant skewers, and pickled chanterelle with pear. Complementing the mushroom menu is a refined potato tasting series featuring dishes such as potato cloud soup, cold potato velouté with cucumber pearls, purple potato ceviche, Japanese sweet potato with miso glaze, Yukon Gold mille-feuille, pommes soufflées with caviar-style lentils, potato rösti with dill cashew cream and sweet potato baklava bites finished with orange blossom syrup.
Attendance is limited to 50 guests per date, creating an intimate setting focused on flavor, presentation and discovery. Ticket options range from tasting-only experiences to curated wine or vodka pairings, allowing guests to customize their evening.
