Masego brings his saxophone-driven blend of R&B, jazz, hip-hop and global club rhythms to The Fillmore Miami Beach. The Grammy-nominated artist performs Thursday, August 13, as part of the Live Nation-produced Fix Your Face Tour, his first headlining run in nearly three years. The Miami Beach stop is part of a 40-date international tour that includes major venues such as Radio City Music Hall in New York, The O2 in London and the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles.
Born Micah Davis, Masego is known for a self-described “TrapHouse Jazz” style that pairs smooth vocals with live saxophone, improvisation and contemporary production. He gained wider attention with “Tadow,” his collaborative track with FKJ, and later released the albums Lady Lady and Masego. His project Studying Abroad: Extended Stay received a Grammy nomination for Best Progressive R&B Album.
The Fillmore Miami Beach concert offers fans a chance to hear material from across his catalog in a live setting shaped by musicianship, groove and genre-blurring arrangements.
