Memorial Day Weekend at Deering Estate

Reduced admission, bayfront picnic areas and guided tours offer a relaxed way to spend Memorial Day weekend at Deering Estate. Memorial Day Weekend at Deering Estate takes place Saturday, May 29 through Monday, May 31, with $8 general admission available for guests ages 4 and older. The weekend invites visitors to explore the Miami-Dade County Heritage Park while reflecting on the holiday’s meaning and the service of U.S. military personnel.
Guests can bring a picnic and spend the day outdoors among the estate’s royal palms overlooking Biscayne Bay. Guided Museum Tours are scheduled at 11:30 a.m., followed by Nature Preserve Tours at 12:30 p.m. The Stone House remains closed for restoration, while the rest of the estate remains open for exploration.
Admission is free for Deering Estate Foundation members and children ages 3 and under. As part of the Blue Star Museums program, active duty, National Guard and Reserve military personnel may receive free admission for themselves and up to five family members from Armed Forces Day through Labor Day with valid qualifying ID.
Tickets are $8 per person for ages 4 and older and available via Miami-Dade County ParkLink. Online purchase is recommended, as ticket sales at the gate may be limited.
