Spanish-language comedy takes center stage as international performers gather at the Miami Improv at CityPlace Doral for a week-long cultural festival. Running May 21–31, the annual Miami es un Chiste festival features stand-up, live podcasts and sketch performances by comedians from Latin America, Spain and the United States, highlighting a broad range of styles within contemporary Latino humor.
The lineup includes performers from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Mexico, Peru, Puerto Rico, Spain, Venezuela and the U.S. The festival spans political satire, cultural storytelling, digital comedy and live performance, reflecting the range of accents, perspectives and experiences shaping Spanish-language comedy today. This year’s lineup also includes an English-language show featuring Fabio Rabin, Francisco Ramos, Paul Elia, Carlos Hernández and Milton Granadillo, expanding the format for broader audiences.
Held at Miami Improv Comedy Club, the 21-and-over festival offers an intimate club setting for both established and emerging comics. Tickets are available for individual shows, with prices varying by performance.
