Miami Youth Ballet’s The Nutcracker

Tchaikovsky’s holiday ballet returns to The Moss Center with Clara’s journey from a festive party to the Land of the Sweets. The Nutcracker is presented Saturday, December 5 and Sunday, December 6, with performances by Miami Youth Ballet in collaboration with The Moss Center.

Designed for audiences of all ages, the production brings together students from Miami Youth Ballet and professional dancers from Dimensions Dance Theatre of Miami. The staging follows the classic story through its familiar scenes of holiday celebration, enchanted toys, dancing sweets and magical transformation.

The performances feature Tchaikovsky’s beloved score, costumes and choreography created for a family-friendly holiday experience. Showtimes are Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m.
