Mini-Me Science: Into the Wild - Everglades National Park
Feb 21, 2027
From: 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM
Ranger-led nature walks and hands-on STEM activities introduce children ages 3–6 to the plants and animals of the Everglades. Presented by the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science, this Mini-Me: Into the Wild session takes place Sunday, February 21, 2027, at the Ernest F. Coe Visitor Center in Everglades National Park. Young participants learn how to help protect the ecosystem while earning an official Junior Ranger badge.
The series connects early learners and their families with South Florida habitats through outdoor exploration, storytelling and mindfulness. The approximately two-and-a-half-hour program includes snacks and water, with further details provided upon registration.
Registration costs $70 for one child and two adults, plus $40 for each additional child and $10 for each additional adult. Older siblings may participate for an additional registration fee. All children must be accompanied by an adult. This is an off-site Frost Science program held at the national park.
