This event has passed.
Soca, Caribbean culture and a brown-toned dress theme come together for an afternoon fête at Blackbird Ordinary in Brickell. Mocha Soca Fete MIA takes place Friday, October 9 with a soundtrack centered on soca and a visual theme built around nude, brown and chocolate hues.
Billed as “The Melanin Fete,” the party pairs Caribbean music and dancing with a coordinated color palette intended to celebrate a range of skin tones and create a polished, fashion-forward setting. The event runs from afternoon into evening.
