Mozart and Schumann - Coral Gables

The South Beach Chamber Ensemble presents a chamber music program highlighting works from the Classical and Romantic eras.

The performance takes place Sunday, April 19 at the Coral Gables Museum and features Mozart’s Piano Trio No. 4 in E major, K. 542 and Schumann’s Piano Trio No. 2 in F major, Op. 80.

Mozart’s trio reflects the clarity, balance and melodic precision of the Classical period, while Schumann’s work brings a more expressive, lyrical approach shaped by Romantic-era composition. Together, the pieces illustrate the evolution of chamber music through contrasting styles and musical language.

Presented in an intimate setting, the concert emphasizes the interplay between piano, violin and cello. Doors open 30 minutes prior to the performance.
