Celebrate a milestone in the world of classical music as the Chopin Foundation of the United States marks the 50th anniversary of the National Chopin Piano Competition with a Gala Concert and Dinner on Sunday, November 10. Taking place at the Gusman Concert Hall at the University of Miami, the evening will feature renowned pianists Kevin Kenner, winner of the 1990 International Chopin Piano Competition, and Avery Gagliano, winner of the 2020 National Chopin Competition, performing both solo and duo pieces, including Mozart's Sonata in C Major.
The event also includes a post-concert dinner at the Hormel Music Innovation Stage, offering an intimate gathering with limited seating. Proceeds from this fundraiser will directly support the competition’s efforts to nurture the next generation of American pianists.
