Experience the beauty and mystery of the outdoors after dark on a guided adventure through the natural landscapes of the Deering Estate.
The Night Hike & Campfire takes place every second Wednesday of the month, running seasonally from October through May. Led by Deering Estate naturalists, this nighttime exploration invites guests to discover the sights and sounds of the woods as local wildlife comes alive under the stars.
Following the hike, participants can gather around a crackling campfire to unwind and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere of this historic waterfront preserve. Guests are encouraged to bring flashlights and s’mores, and to come prepared with bug protection and comfortable outdoor clothing.
Tickets are $25 per person for ages 4 and older, with limited spaces available. Check-in begins at the Main Gate, and early arrival is recommended, as the hike departs promptly on time.
