Illuminated garden paths, interactive light displays and a new rink with real ice bring an after-dark holiday program to Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden in Coral Gables. The annual NightGarden returns on select nights from Friday, November 13 through Sunday, January 3, 2027, combining a garden walk with seasonal activities, food and drinks.
Returning attractions include Archimedes the talking tree, the Giant Dandelions, the Tree of Life and a garden laser show. Visitors can follow projections along Pixie’s Detour, explore the lights and sounds of the Rainbow Rainforest and discover fairy displays with updated lighting, soundscapes and locations. Holiday movie nights also return to the program.
New for the 2026 season, ice skating beneath the palms is available as an optional activity. Skating requires a separate ticket in addition to NightGarden admission. Food trucks offer meals and refreshments, with specialty coffee and hot chocolate also available.
The garden walk takes approximately one hour. All ages are welcome, and children ages 3 and younger enter free. The venue is wheelchair accessible, but wheelchairs are not available to rent. Admission dates and entry times vary.
