This April, O, Miami will be creating original digital programming that will come to you via email, social media, and other digital platforms.

A lot of this programming will be highly experimental, and as such, we welcome your comments, not just your hearts and likes.

This online programming will also allow us to honor our commitments to artists. Many of the artists we had planned to feature this April depend on festivals like ours to pay rent, bills, childcare costs, etc. We do not wish to contribute to a situation that may cause them economic hardship, nor put them in the position of weighing their wellbeing against their livelihood. On the bright side, we're looking forward to trying new things with people we love and respect, and we hope you'll be supportive of those efforts.
You know as well as we do how powerful shared language can be in uncertain times, and we are committed to providing space for that language, even if that space is only virtual.
In addition, we will continue to produce select poetry-in-public-places projects as planned. These are projects that we feel, in their execution, do not pose any additional risk to the public and will contribute to Miami's cultural life.
In summation, stay tuned. O, Miami is still happening; it's just temporarily changing shape, and we'd love for you to join us from the comfort of your home.
