Nov 01, 2025 - Mar 07, 2026
monthly on the 1st Saturday
From: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Historic architecture and local heritage take center stage as the Opa-locka Museum of Art & History opens its doors to the public on the first Saturday of each month.
Located in the landmark 1927 Seaboard Air Line Railroad Station—listed on the National Register of Historic Places—the museum offers a window into the story of Opa-locka, the 1920s city inspired by the tales of Arabian Nights. Exhibits explore the community’s Moorish Revival architecture, cultural evolution, and artistic contributions to Miami-Dade County’s history.
Opa-locka Museum of Art & History 1st Saturdays welcomes visitors monthly from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission is free, with additional weekday visits available by appointment.
