Piano Masters & New Voices at The Betsy

Emerging jazz pianists share the stage with established performers during a Tuesday evening series at The Betsy Hotel in Miami Beach. Continuing weekly through October 27, Piano Masters & New Voices pairs performances by pianist Tal Cohen with a rotating group of upper-level undergraduate and graduate musicians selected through an initiative led by Cohen and University of Miami jazz professor Martin Bejerano.

Each Tuesday begins with Cohen at the piano from 6 to 9 p.m., followed by a featured student pianist from 9 to 11 p.m. Participating musicians include Tony Font, Dan Pappas, Bix Cole, Ethan Frank and Ben Collins-Siegel, with the lineup varying by date.

The program is designed to give developing jazz artists professional performance experience while connecting them with Miami’s broader music community. There is no cover charge or minimum purchase, and guests may stop in for drinks in The Betsy lobby or dine separately at LT Steak & Seafood.

Performances are presented without a cover charge or minimum purchase.
