Piano Slam

Piano and poetry share the spotlight in an evening where rhythm meets rhyme and music meets movement.

Piano Slam, part of the Arsht Center Impact Series, returns to the Adrienne Arsht Center on Saturday, April 18. Presented with Dranoff 2 Piano, this annual event brings together Miami’s top young poets with acclaimed pianists for a dynamic mix of spoken word, classical and popular music. This year’s edition, Searching for Home, is inspired by poet Richard Blanco and directed by award-winning theater artist Teo Castellanos. Additional event details will be announced as the date approaches.

Admission is free, with first-access passes required.
