Planta Industrial
Mar 05, 2026
From: 7:00 PM to 1:00 AM
A high-energy punk performance brings Planta Industrial to ZeyZey Miami, channeling Latin alternative culture through raw sound and lived experience.
Taking place Thursday, March 5, the night centers on the genre-bending project led by Bronx-based Dominican artists Saso and akathedarknight. Planta Industrial draws from punk, metal, hip-hop and Caribbean rhythms, folding Dominican Spanish, Spanglish and autobiographical lyricism into a sound that challenges narrow definitions of both punk and Latin music. Influenced by everything from early-2000s rock and metal to reggaeton and classic hip-hop, their work reflects a bicultural upbringing shaped by life between New York City and the Dominican Republic.
Rather than treating punk as a borrowed aesthetic, Planta Industrial positions it as something that has always existed in Latin spaces, amplifying it with urgency, distortion and cultural specificity. Tracks such as “Arthur Ave” and “Teteo in the Bronx” function as sonic love letters to their neighborhood, their roots and the lineage of artists who came before them, blending rebellion with community and identity.
ZeyZey Miami provides an open-air setting well suited to the duo’s unfiltered energy. The venue operates as a cultural gathering space with a curated beverage program featuring seasonal cocktails, natural wines and non-alcoholic options, alongside on-site dining from Tacos María, serving grass-fed, seed-oil-free tacos made with bold flavor and zero shortcuts.
This event is free to attend and open to guests 18 and over.
