Pop Air: Art is Inflatable
May 16, 2026 - Sep 27, 2026
Multiple event times
An immersive exhibition of large-scale inflatable artworks transforms the Mana Wynwood Convention Center into an interactive environment where visitors can move through, touch and experience contemporary art. On view May 16 through September 27, Pop Air: Art is Inflatable presents a collection of installations that use air as both material and concept, inviting exploration across a series of visually dynamic spaces.
Created by an international group of artists, the exhibition features works that range from sculptural forms and suspended environments to participatory pieces designed for movement and play. Highlights include installations by Hyperstudio, Karina Smigla-Bobinski, ENESS, Cyril Lancelin and Quiet Ensemble, among others, each offering a distinct approach to scale, color and interactivity.
Developed by the Balloon Museum, the exhibition is part of a touring series that has been presented in cities worldwide, focusing on experiential art that emphasizes audience engagement. Suitable for a wide range of visitors, the show combines elements of design, technology and sensory exploration in a format that encourages both individual discovery and shared experience.
