Projecto Gratitud: Picnic en Patch
Nov 29, 2026
From: 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM
The forest and lotus ponds at Patch of Heaven Sanctuary provide a setting for exploring gratitude as an everyday practice. Held Sunday, November 29 in recognition of National Gratitude Month, this Spanish-language edition of Proyecto Gratitud: Picnic en Patch pairs guided reflection with time in nature and a shared picnic.
Suzanne Jewell, the sanctuary’s chief experience officer, mindfulness meditation teacher and forest therapy guide, leads discussions about gratitude, optimism and resilience. Participants will explore the grounds through meditation and silent walking, learn the “Decláralo Bueno” gratitude journaling practice and share reflections. A light lunch includes artisanal bread, olive oil, olives, hummus and fruit.
The agenda includes:
- 11–11:15 a.m.: Arrival and welcome
- 11:15–11:45 a.m.: Discussion of gratitude’s benefits
