Puma Blue brings his dreamlike blend of lo-fi jazz, trip-hop, jungle breaks and shadowy balladry to ZeyZey Miami’s Zaku Stage. The performance takes place Thursday, October 29, featuring music tied to Croak Dream, his latest album.
Led by London artist Jacob Allen, Puma Blue is known for atmospheric songs that move between intimate vocals, restless grooves and saxophone-driven textures. Croak Dream was developed from tape-loop sessions at Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios and co-produced and engineered by Sam Petts-Davies, whose credits include work with The Smile and Frank Ocean.
The album explores fate, vulnerability, transformation and the relationship between past, present and future. Its sound expands Puma Blue’s palette with baritone sax ballads, krautrock textures, jungle rhythms and trip-hop atmosphere, balancing experimental production with emotional directness. ZeyZey Miami is an open-air cultural venue in Little Haiti known for live music, DJ events, craft cocktails, natural wines and food from Tacos María, including grass-fed, seed-oil-free tacos.
