Rabbi Shira Stutman: The Jewish Way to a Good Life
May 15, 2025
Starting: 7:00 PM
An evening of conversation will explore how Jewish traditions and cultural practices can offer pathways to greater meaning, connection and happiness in daily life. Through a discussion grounded in both ritual and realism, guests will hear reflections on how time-honored customs continue to speak to contemporary needs.
Rabbi Shira Stutman: The Jewish Way to a Good Life will take place on Thursday, May 15, at The Hub at Temple Beth Am in Pinecrest. Presented in partnership with Books & Books, the event will feature Rabbi Shira Stutman in conversation with Rabbi Judith Kempler, focusing on themes from Stutman's new book. Topics will include concepts such as chesed (good work), tzedek (justice) and shabbat (rest), as well as broader explorations of love, mourning, community and everyday joy.
Admission is free with a required RSVP. Copies of The Jewish Way to a Good Life will be available for purchase at the event for $22.95 through Books & Books.
