Race to the 4th

Fireworks, a drone show and family activities bring Independence Day festivities to Homestead-Miami Speedway for an evening of community celebration. Presented by the City of Homestead, Race to the Fourth takes place Saturday, July 4 from 5 to 10 p.m. The annual event is part of the city’s Fourth of July tradition and coincides with the America 250 anniversary, marking 250 years since the founding of the United States.

The celebration includes live music and entertainment, a Kids & Art Zone, local food trucks, cold drinks and an interactive fan zone connected to the major soccer events taking place in 2026. Guests can also expect a fireworks finale and a new drone show illuminating the night sky.

Admission and parking are free. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to take part in the activities before the evening finale.
