ReeFLorida Symposium

Coral reef science, restoration and education take center stage in a three-day gathering for researchers, conservation professionals, educators and resource managers. The annual symposium runs Wednesday, November 11 through Friday, November 13 at the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science, bringing together specialists working to protect and restore Florida’s Coral Reef.
Early check-in and workshops are scheduled for November 11, followed by plenary talks, short presentations and poster sessions on November 12 and 13. The program highlights current research, conservation strategies and educational initiatives addressing threats including disease, pollution, coastal development and climate change.
The symposium is presented through ReeFLorida, Frost Science’s coral reef conservation initiative and part of its broader work in research, public education and collaborative restoration. Registration is open from August 1 through October 23.
