Salon Series: Exploring New Works!

Emerging choreography takes shape in an intimate setting as Dimensions Dance Theatre of Miami invites audiences into the creative process at The Moss Center. Presented Friday, February 19 through Sunday, February 21, the Salon Series features company dancers and choreographers sharing original works in progress inside the Lab Theater.

Rather than a traditional staged performance, the program offers a closer look at how contemporary ballet is developed, with audiences gaining insight into choreographic ideas, artistic choices and the evolution of new material. The smaller-scale format also allows for a more interactive exchange between artists and viewers.

Founded in 2016 by former Miami City Ballet principal dancers Jennifer Kronenberg and Carlos Guerra, Dimensions Dance Theatre of Miami focuses on contemporary ballet and new choreographic voices reflecting South Florida’s cultural landscape.
