Scone Cash Players
Jan 17, 2027
From: 12:15 PM to 1:15 PM
Hammond organ leads a mix of soul-jazz, funk, boogaloo and Brazilian rhythms in an outdoor performance by Miami-based Scone Cash Players. The group takes the Power Access Main Stage on the 1100 block of Lincoln Road in Miami Beach on Sunday, January 17, 2027. Presented by Power Access, the early-afternoon concert is part of the South Beach Jazz Festival’s Sunday lineup.
Bandleader Adam Scone brings a background in jazz and soul, with performance credits alongside Lou Donaldson, Melvin Sparks and Sharon Jones. His organ playing anchors the ensemble’s improvisational approach, connecting classic organ jazz with contemporary funk. The group’s recordings include the Brazilian-influenced Brooklyn to Brooklin on Daptone Records and Blast Furnace! on Colemine Records.
Admission is free with an RSVP. Additional festival performances take place along Lincoln Road throughout the day.
