September Open Studios

Resident studios, printmaking facilities and gallery exhibitions open across the Bakehouse Art Complex for an evening centered on Miami’s working artists. The program takes place Tuesday, September 8 in Wynwood, offering visitors a final opportunity to see work by this year’s Summer Open cohort before the residency concludes.

Participating Summer Open artists include Dona Altemus, Lucia Aquino, Jevon Alexander Brown, Agua Dulce Gloriosa, Anthony Magnetti, Jonathan Melo, Leticia Sánchez Toledo and Victoria Ravelo. The galleries will also feature Bakehouse at Forty: Past & Future, an exhibition reflecting on four decades of artistic experimentation and community at the nonprofit arts campus.

Guests can tour the Shared Printmaking Facilities, learn about its monthly JAMS programming and stop by Bookleggers for a free book. Complimentary beverages will be served throughout the evening.
