Fri: 7:30 PM & 10:00 PM | Sat: 7:00 PM & 9:30 PM
Stand-up comedian, writer and actor Shawn Wayans brings his sharp, fast-paced humor to the Miami Improv Comedy Theatre for a multi-night run.
Known for his foundational role in the Wayans comedy legacy, Wayans first broke out on the Emmy Award–winning In Living Color before becoming a defining voice in 1990s and early-2000s film and television comedy. His work spans cult classics and box-office hits, including Don’t Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood, White Chicks, Little Man and the original Scary Movie films, which he co-wrote, co-produced and starred in alongside his brothers.
Wayans also co-created and starred in The Wayans Bros., a landmark WB sitcom that became the network’s first series to enter syndication, and has continued to expand his creative footprint through film, television and animation projects. On stage, his stand-up blends observational comedy, cultural commentary and the loose, kinetic energy that made the Wayans name synonymous with modern sketch and parody comedy.
Performances take place Friday, May 1 and Saturday, May 2 at the Miami Improv Comedy Theatre, with multiple showtimes each night. All shows are 21 and over unless otherwise noted. Seating is first come, first served, and a two-drink minimum per person applies inside the showroom.
