Soles of Duende: Can We Dance Here?
Feb 06, 2027 - Feb 07, 2027
Sat: 3:30 PM & 7:30 PM | Sun: 3:30 PM
Tap, flamenco and Kathak meet in a live exploration of rhythm, cultural tradition and shared movement. Performances take place Saturday, February 6, and Sunday, February 7, in the Black Box Theater at The Moss Center, with two showings scheduled on Saturday.
Can We Dance Here? features Amanda Castro, Arielle Rosales and Brinda Guha, three artists whose distinct dance forms create a conversation through footwork, percussion and storytelling. Accompanied by live musicians, the performers move between solos and ensemble passages that highlight both the differences and common ground among their traditions.
Created by Soles of Duende, the production examines how dance can carry history, identity and connection across cultures. The intimate Black Box setting places audiences close to the performers and the intricate rhythms at the center of the work.
