Sorry, We're Occupied: A Stand-Up Comedy Special

Stand-up comedy and a live taping come together for an evening of fundraising and personal storytelling at Villain Theater in Little Haiti. Presented by The Watermelon Club on Saturday, September 26, Sorry, We’re Occupied features headliner Tarek Turjman, with Al D. hosting and Natasha Samreny also on the lineup.
Turjman’s new comedy special draws on childhood trauma, identity, community and the strain of living through ongoing violence affecting Palestinians, using dark humor and autobiographical material throughout the set. The performance will be recorded live.
Proceeds from the event will support families in Gaza facing food and shelter insecurity. Villain Theater does not require a drink minimum, and parking is free.
