Soundscape Cinema Series: Elf

Will Ferrell heads from the North Pole to New York City in a holiday screening of Elf at SoundScape Park in Miami Beach. The Wednesday, December 23 presentation is part of the 17th season of the free SoundScape Cinema Series, which projects films onto the 7,000-square-foot wall of the New World Center.
Directed by Jon Favreau, the 2003 comedy follows Buddy, a human raised by elves who travels to Manhattan in search of his biological father. His wide-eyed enthusiasm and unfamiliarity with everyday city life lead to a string of comic encounters as he tries to reconnect with his family and spread Christmas spirit.
The PG-rated film is presented outdoors, rain or shine. Attendees may bring blankets and picnic baskets for the screening.
