Corbin Bleu trades the boxing ring for double Dutch in an outdoor screening of Jump In! at SoundScape Park in Miami Beach. The Wednesday, February 24 presentation is part of the 17th season of the free SoundScape Cinema Series, which projects films onto the 7,000-square-foot wall of the New World Center.
Directed by Paul Hoen, the 2007 Disney Channel film follows teenage boxer Izzy Daniels as he discovers an unexpected talent for competitive jump rope. When he secretly joins a double Dutch team, Izzy must balance his new interest with his father’s expectations and decide which path feels most like his own.
The G-rated film is presented outdoors, rain or shine. Attendees may bring blankets and picnic baskets for the screening.
