Soundscape Cinema Series: Project Hail Mary

Ryan Gosling heads into deep space on a mission to save Earth in an outdoor screening of Project Hail Mary at SoundScape Park in Miami Beach. The Wednesday, November 4 presentation is part of the 17th season of the free SoundScape Cinema Series, which projects films onto the 7,000-square-foot wall of the New World Center.

Directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller and based on Andy Weir’s novel, the 2026 science-fiction adventure follows science teacher Ryland Grace, who awakens alone aboard a spacecraft with no memory of how he got there. As his memories return, he discovers that he has been sent on an interstellar mission to stop a mysterious phenomenon threatening the sun and life on Earth, with an unexpected encounter offering a possible path forward.

The PG-13 film is presented outdoors, rain or shine. Attendees may bring blankets and picnic baskets for the screening.
