Miami's cinematic landscape expands with a new festival celebrating diverse storytelling and the city's rich film heritage. The inaugural South Beach Film Festival 2025 brings four days of film screenings and industry events to various locations throughout Miami Beach from May 15-18.
This newcomer to the festival circuit focuses on short films, international cinema, comedy and documentaries that explore culturally and socially relevant themes. The program includes both traditional theater screenings and unique viewing experiences, including beachside showings and drive-in theaters that accommodate families.
The festival will commemorate significant milestones in Miami's film history, including the 30th anniversary of Bad Boys and the 40th anniversary of Miami Vice, with themed events and cast appearances. Industry professionals, filmmakers and cinema enthusiasts can participate in seminars, conferences and networking events throughout the festival.
