To celebrate the October kick off of stone crab season, South Beach Seafood Week throws an epic weeklong shindig—this year, from October 22 to 26, 2019—filled with VIP dinners, cocktail parties and the culminating all-day festival at Lummus Park featuring fabulous seafood by Miami’s top restaurants and chefs. Saturday’s festivities promise live music and entertainment, open bars and plenty of grub, all in the heart of South Beach directly on the sand. Eat, drink, and indulge as you experience the ultimate seafood festival.

VIP Dinners & Parties

Leading up to Saturday’s festivities at Lummus Park, a series of upscale events will be held at restaurants and hotels across South Beach from Tuesday through Friday evening. Ticket prices start at $75. On Tuesday night, the famed Joe’s Stone Crab hosts An Evening at Joe’s for 50 VIPs to dine in the private dining room that once hosted Frank Sinatra and Al Capone. Wednesday evening, Chef Sean Brasel hosts Cooking & Cocktails at his Lincoln Road eatery Meat Market for a seafood dinner paired with Herradura tequila cocktails.

Thursday night, the Shore Club hosts Crabs, Slabs and Cabs cocktail party showcasing the best of Sbe Entertainment’s award-winning chefs and their culinary creations in a buzzy setting, perfect for those who love to mix and mingle. Friday evening’s Chef Showdown pits 14 chefs against each other in seven battles for an epic beach bash where one chef will emerge the winner. Those in attendance will sample the chefs’ creations and vote for their favorite bites, all while enjoying the sounds of Yissel for live entertainment.

On Saturday, come out to Lummus Park for an all-day, mega-seafood festival spanning four blocks ofs festival grounds where the price of admission (starting at $45) grants you access to an open bar, beer garden and an incredible sampling of food and dessert from Miami’s finest seafood restaurants all day long.
