STAMPED: AYA x Friends MLK Weekend

A rooftop day-to-night party rooted in African sound and community culture takes over Higher Ground at Arlo Wynwood during MLK Weekend. STAMPED: AYA x Friends centers amapiano, afrobeats and contemporary club sounds from the continent, creating a space where music, movement and collective energy lead the experience.

Curated by Miami-based DJ and cultural connector Leslie “AYA” Ayafor, the event reflects STAMPED’s commitment to amplifying African music on its own terms. AYA’s sets are known for blending regional deep cuts with global hits, spotlighting sounds from across the diaspora while keeping the focus firmly on the continent. The series has grown into one of Miami’s most recognized afrobeats gatherings, earning Best Day Party honors from Miami New Times and drawing a devoted following for its intentional atmosphere and high-energy programming.

Held on the third-floor rooftop of Arlo Wynwood, the event unfolds from sunset into late evening. STAMPED emphasizes respect, consent and care within the space, fostering an environment where self-expression and community are prioritized.
