Stand-Up Comedy Show with Roz Hernandez
Aug 08, 2025
From: 10:30 PM to 11:55 PM
Transgender comedian Roz Hernandez brings her sharp, unconventional humor to Miami for a late-night stand-up set that blends personal storytelling with irreverent wit. Known for her distinctive voice and growing presence in both comedy and pop culture, Hernandez offers audiences a fresh perspective rooted in her life experiences—and yes, the occasional ghost story.
The Stand-Up Comedy Show with Roz Hernandez takes place at Villain Theater on Friday, August 8, with doors opening at 10:00 p.m. Part of the theater’s weekly late-night comedy series, this performance features Hernandez as the featured act alongside a lineup of local comedians.
Based in Los Angeles, Hernandez has earned attention as the host of the podcast Ghosted! by Roz Hernandez and as a cast member on Hulu’s Living for the Dead, produced by Kristen Stewart. In 2024, she was recognized by Vulture as one of the “Comedians You Should and Will Know” and opened for Bob the Drag Queen’s U.S. tour. She’s also appeared in Netflix’s OUTstanding: A Comedy Revolution and is currently touring with her 2025 show Roz Hernandez Does Comedy in a Gay Bar?!
Best known for her quick humor and quirky charm, Hernandez draws from a range of topics beyond the paranormal—touching on identity, culture and day-to-day absurdities. This show is open to audiences 18 and up and offers a lively alternative to a typical Friday night out in Miami.
