Street Stages: Cuerda y Clave
Feb 06, 2026
From: 6:00 PM to 6:45 PM
A high-energy Afro-Cuban jazz performance brings piano-driven improvisation and percussion-forward rhythms to Olympia Arts’ Street Stages in Downtown Miami.
Street Stages: Cuerda y Clave features Cuban pianist and composer Edgar Pantoja alongside Puerto Rican percussionist Gabriel Placido in a stripped-down duo format that emphasizes groove, rhythmic dialogue and modern jazz expression rooted in Afro-Cuban traditions. The free outdoor concert takes place Friday, February 6 at 148 E. Flagler Street, across from Lost Boy and Over Under, in the historic Flagler District.
Presented by Olympia Arts Miami, Street Stages is a seasonal series that transforms Flagler Street into an open-air performance space, showcasing a rotating lineup of local and international artists across genres including jazz, Latin, pop, soul and performance art. The series runs Fridays and Saturdays as part of a broader effort to activate Downtown Miami through accessible, community-focused programming.
