Sunset Kayak Excursion

A sunset paddle around Pelican Island and through mangrove habitat offers a guided look at the coastal ecosystems surrounding Crandon Marina. The excursion takes place Friday, August 21 from 5:45 to 8:15 p.m., with Miami EcoAdventures guides leading participants across calm waters as evening light settles over Biscayne Bay.

Along the route, paddlers may observe seabirds and other wildlife while exploring mangrove-lined waterways before returning toward the marina with views of boats, the bay and the distant skyline. The program is open to adults and to children ages 9 to 17 accompanied by a registered parent or guardian.

Participants should arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled start time. Late arrivals cannot join the excursion, and programs are subject to minimum enrollment, weather and environmental conditions.
