Sunset, Movie and Meditation: World Environment Day

A sunset meditation and outdoor film screening invite guests to mark World Environment Day in a natural sanctuary setting. The evening takes place Saturday, June 6 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Patch of Heaven Sanctuary in South Miami-Dade. The program combines mindfulness, environmental reflection and community gathering beneath the forest canopy.
The event begins with a guided meditation near the lagoon as the sun sets over the sanctuary. Afterward, guests can watch a nature-based film under the stars, with the screening centered on themes of environmental connection and care for the planet.
Patch of Heaven Sanctuary is a nonprofit nature sanctuary set within a historic subtropical forest. Its grounds include mature trees, pollinator gardens, wildlife habitats and restorative green spaces, supporting the organization’s focus on conservation, education, mindfulness and immersive experiences in nature.
