Szeps-Znaider Plays Bruch
Mar 20, 2027
Starting: 8:00 PM
Violinist Nikolaj Szeps-Znaider performs Bruch’s Scottish Fantasy in a program that pairs Romantic lyricism with vivid orchestral storytelling. The concert takes place Saturday, March 20 at the Adrienne Arsht Center, as part of The Cleveland Orchestra in Miami series, presented in partnership with the Arsht Center.
Conducted by Stéphane Denève and featuring members of the New World Symphony, the program opens with Bruch’s work for violin and orchestra, inspired by Scottish folk melodies. The evening continues with Respighi’s Fountains of Rome and Pines of Rome, two tone poems that depict scenes of the Italian landscape through richly textured orchestration.
Presented in a concert hall setting, the performance brings together works that explore place and atmosphere through music, highlighting the expressive range of both soloist and ensemble.
