Fri: Noon to 6:00 PM | Sat-Sun: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
An expansive winter showcase brings growers, collectors and orchid enthusiasts together for one of the most prominent horticultural events in the country.
The Tamiami International Orchid Festival returns January 16-18 to the Miami-Dade County Fair & Expo Center, marking its annual gathering and continuing a legacy that has grown over more than two decades into a nationally and internationally recognized orchid event. Widely cited as the largest winter orchid show in the United States, the festival features an extraordinary range of rare and exotic orchids alongside specialty plants and botanical supplies.
Attendees can explore a vast marketplace of orchid growers from Florida, across the U.S., and around the world, representing regions such as Thailand, Ecuador, Peru and Cuba. The weekend also includes plant growers, allied vendors offering tools, books, art and accessories, and participating organizations focused on research, education and conservation. A central display curated by Anderson Landscaping anchors the exhibition floor with large-scale floral design.
Festival hours run Friday from noon to 6 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is $20, with children under 12 admitted free. On-site parking is available for a daily fee through the venue, with rideshare drop-off and pickup located at the building entrance.
With its depth of vendors, international scope and immersive displays, the festival offers a rare opportunity to experience the breadth of the orchid world in one setting.
