Thanksgiving Weekend Jazz: Joonas Haavisto with Pato Romero

Finnish jazz pianist and composer Joonas Haavisto shares the Piano Bar with multi-instrumentalist Pato Romero for an evening of live jazz. The performance takes place Thursday, November 26, at The Betsy–South Beach in Miami Beach. It forms part of the hotel’s Thanksgiving Weekend Jazz programming.

Haavisto’s compositions combine lyrical themes with layered rhythms and harmonies. His trio has performed internationally at venues including New York’s Blue Note and the Tokyo Jazz Festival. Romero, a sound designer and frequent Betsy performer, works across genres and regularly plays acoustic jazz on the hotel’s Steinway.

Admission is free. Guests can also reserve Thanksgiving dinner at the hotel’s LT Steak & Seafood, with restaurant reservations available through Resy.
