Thanksgiving Weekend Jazz: Joonas Haavisto with Special Guest
Nov 27, 2026
From: 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM
Finnish pianist and composer Joonas Haavisto brings his melodic, rhythmically intricate approach to jazz to The Betsy’s Piano Bar. Performing with a special guest on Friday, November 27, he continues the hotel’s Thanksgiving Weekend Jazz programming in Miami Beach.
A Steinway Artist since 2017, Haavisto leads a trio that has appeared at New York’s Blue Note Jazz Club, Tokyo Jazz Festival and other international venues. His compositions combine clear melodic themes with layered rhythms and rich harmonies, drawing on a career spanning small ensembles, big bands and chamber orchestras.
The performance is free and open to the public. Food from LT Steak & Seafood, cocktails and other beverages are available for purchase in The Piano Bar at 1440 Ocean Drive.
