Learn the fundamentals of classic choux pastry in an interactive evening workshop at MIAM Cafe in Wynwood. The Art of French Pastry, taking place Saturday, May 3, offers a hands-on introduction to crafting cream puffs, from mixing dough to piping, baking and filling.
Guided by a professional pastry chef, guests will follow a step-by-step process to master techniques that can be used to create a variety of French pastries. All equipment and ingredients are provided, and no prior baking experience is required. Designed to be both informative and casual, the class welcomes beginners and enthusiasts alike. Groups will share ingredients and tools, and smaller parties may be paired with others to complete the recipes. Guests aged 14 to 17 must be accompanied by an adult, and the class is intended for those 18 and older. While drinks are not included, guests 21+ may bring their own beer, wine or champagne. Access to the event is through the shopping center entrance, located between the MIAM Cafe sign and the neighboring ice cream shop.
