The Carole King & James Taylor Story
Jan 20, 2027
Starting: 8:00 PM
The intertwined musical legacies of Carole King and James Taylor take center stage in a live tribute performed by Phoebe Katis and Dan Clews. Presented Wednesday, January 20 at the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center, The Carole King & James Taylor Story traces the careers and enduring songbooks of the two singer-songwriters.
Katis performs King favorites including “I Feel the Earth Move” and “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman,” while Clews takes on Taylor standards such as “Fire and Rain” and “Sweet Baby James.” The program also features “You’ve Got a Friend,” a song closely associated with both artists through King’s original recording and Taylor’s hit version.
The touring production has previously appeared at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Adelaide Fringe and venues across the U.K. and U.S.
