Acclaimed authors, literary supporters and community leaders gather for an evening of dining and conversation benefiting Miami Book Fair. The fourth annual Next Page Dinner takes place Friday, November 20 at JW Marriott Marquis Miami, honoring author Judy Blume and the late community patron Sandy Nusbaum and his family for their contributions to South Florida’s literary and cultural life.
Guests are seated with presenting Miami Book Fair 2026 authors throughout the evening, combining fine dining, live entertainment and intimate table conversation. Blume spent part of her childhood in Miami Beach, an experience that informed Starring Sally J. Freedman As Herself, and has lived in Key West for three decades. Her work for young and young adult readers has shaped generations of coming-of-age literature, alongside her longstanding advocacy against censorship and book banning.
The dinner also recognizes Sandy Nusbaum, who supported Miami cultural and community organizations including Miami Book Fair, HistoryMiami Museum, Camillus House and UHealth. Proceeds from the event support Miami Book Fair and its literary programming for readers and writers of all ages.
