The Gaslamp Killer
Jan 16, 2026
From: 10:00 PM to 2:00 AM
A high-intensity DJ set blurs hip-hop, psychedelia, dub and experimental electronics in a late-night, open-air setting.
The Gaslamp Killer brings his genre-defying approach to ZeyZey Miami on Friday, January 16, delivering an unpredictable performance shaped by deep crate-digging and raw physical energy behind the decks. The Los Angeles–based artist, born William Bensussen, is widely known for pushing beyond conventional club formats, stitching together rock, rap, jazz, dub and heavy electronic beats into sets where contrast and collision are central to the experience.
As a co-founder of LA’s influential Low End Theory weekly, The Gaslamp Killer helped redefine West Coast beat culture, introducing audiences to boundary-pushing sounds while bridging underground scenes and generations of artists. His work as a producer has included collaborations with Gonjasufi, Flying Lotus, Prefuse 73 and others associated with the Brainfeeder orbit, while his solo releases reflect the same restless, exploratory spirit found in his live performances.
Doors open at 10 p.m. This event is open to ages 18 and up. On-site dining is provided by Tacos María, serving grass-fed, seed-oil-free tacos with a sustainability-minded approach, alongside ZeyZey Miami’s curated selection of cocktails, natural wines, and non-alcoholic options.
